What is the online returns policy?

We believe strongly in our products and their quality and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are disappointed in any way; or should you receive damaged or faulty product; or receive an incorrect order please contact us within 30 days of purchase. All refunds will be made by method of payment, excluding delivery costs. We cannot accept returns on Gift Cards.

Return to store

Goods purchased online may be returned to stores. If you are returning to a store please make sure you have the confirmation email with you. If this document is not presented the store will not be able to process your refund for you.

Return via post

You may return goods by contacting the Customer Care, who will advise you on how to return your goods via post and issue you a return form.

The following information will be required when returning your goods:

  1. Confirmation Email containing your Transaction Reference Number
  2. Delivery Documentation containing your Delivery Number
  3. List and description of goods to be returned
  4. Reason given for returning goods
  5. If returning goods by post please also include completed returns form.

Receipts showing any return charges if you are claiming a full refund for damaged, faulty or incorrectly delivered goods

When returning the goods by post please note:

  • It may take up to 10 days for your parcel to reach us
  • Returned items will be processed within two (2) working days of receipt
  • Reasonable care must be taken when packaging the parcel and returning it so that goods are not damaged in transit
  • You are advised to use a carrier that offers both traceability and insurance
Can I return an online purchase to store?

We hope you like what you have bought, but if you are unhappy you can return your product(s) within 30 days of the purchase date. Simply bring your product(s) into store with your receipt for a full refund.

How do I make changes to my order?

Changes to the contents can be made by you at any point whilst placing your order. Once you have confirmed your order and made payment, we regret to advise that no changes can be made to the contents of the order. If you have selected the incorrect products, please review our returns procedures.

Once the order has been place in error, please call Customer Care immediately on 1800 065 232. Please note, even at this time we are unable to guarantee successful cancellation of the order and advise that you please check your order carefully before you confirm.

What information do I need to return an item to store?

ONLINE PURCHASE

If you are returning an item you purchased online to a The Body Shop store you will need to provide your confirmation email and delivery note for a full refund..

INSTORE PURCHASE

If you are returning an item you purchased instore to a The Body Shop store you will need to provide your receipt for a full refund.

Can I return items purchased during an online clearance sale?

No ‘change of mind’ returns allowed on sale items. For more information on sale product returns please contact our Customer Service team.

How long will it take to get a refund?

Once your returned goods are received by us, it usually takes 3-5 working days depending on your card issuer, for the refund to appear in your bank account. However this can take up to 14 days.
